DEL / CHILD SAFETY

No place for abuse.

Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Del · SHARDS LABS LTD, United Kingdom · 15 October 2026

Our standards

Del prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. This includes content or behaviour that sexually abuses, exploits or endangers a person under 18. These standards apply to everyone using Del, including profiles, messages, uploaded media and live interactions.

Del is a dating service for adults aged 18 and over, operated by SHARDS LABS LTD. People under 18 may not create or use a Del account. An adults-only service does not lessen our responsibility to address child safety concerns.

The following are prohibited:

Report a concern

Use Del's in-app reporting feature to report a profile or interaction that raises a child safety concern. You can also contact info@thedelapp.com with the subject “Del child safety concern”. You do not need a Del account to email a report.

Include the relevant profile name or identifier, where and when the concern occurred, and a brief description so we can locate it. Report suspected underage accounts as well as abusive content or behaviour.

Do not download, screenshot, forward or attach suspected CSAM. Give us identifiers and context instead. Do not investigate or confront the person yourself. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

How we respond

Our enforcement standard is to prioritise child safety reports, assess the information available, and take appropriate action. On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM on Del, we will remove it or disable access, address the responsible account and take the steps required by applicable law.

Accounts involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation are subject to suspension or permanent removal. Confirmed underage accounts will be removed from the service. Where appropriate, we will take steps to prevent banned users from returning.

We will report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, as appropriate under applicable law, and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities. Relevant records will be preserved only as necessary and lawful for reporting, investigations or legal obligations, with access restricted to authorised people.

We handle reports with care and limit disclosure to what is necessary for assessment, enforcement and legal requirements. We cannot promise absolute confidentiality or provide details of every investigation.

Child safety contact

Child safety concerns and enquiries about these standards can be sent to info@thedelapp.com, addressed to SHARDS LABS LTD — Del child safety.

These standards describe Del's commitments. They do not replace reporting an immediate danger to emergency services or making a report to the appropriate child protection authority.
